Losing my memories

Losing my memories series brings us a space to explore our relationship with internet and the different social platforms, and questions whether we feel more alienated in the loneliness of our home or inside this network, with a million unknown friends and with our virtual identity used as a mask. An identity which emerge from our necessity to fit in a community define by a few hashtags and visual elements.

The pieces, in this series, are built through portraits and images found in vintage magazines, which I cut and glue again, identifying my own creative process with this visual identity creation process. The identity created in this way is far away from our real identity which is much more complex and fulfilled with touches.
